The Cote D’Azur Triangle Catalog

The Cote D’Azur Triangle was first published in 1985 by Vincent Fitz Gerald & Co. in a fine-art edition illustrated by Mark Beard. The paintings for the book were exhibited at the Harcus Gallery in Boston November 2-December 4, 1985. On the occasion of the opening, there was a panel discussion, “Points Along the Cote D’Azur Triangle,” moderated by David P. Becker, assistant curator of prints, drawings, and photographs at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. And Michael Feingold, Village Voice drama critic, directed a staged reading of the play. The gallery and Vincent Fitz Gerald produced a handsome catalog for the show that included interviews with Kondoleon and Beard as well as reproductions of some pages from the illustrated edition, shown below.
